Child Journalism Stories
“I realized that there is someone to listen me and now I cannot stop myself from writing- this is my strength”- Shivkumar, Child Journalist, village Aamdehi Being a journalist changed...
“Now I am not afraid of going to school alone, I can face any situation”-Sukhwati, Totally Blind, Judo Champion, village Chandan Pipariya
I am totally blind since childhood. Due to my growing age my parents were afraid of sending me to school which is 3kms away from my home. I dropped out from class 7th against my wish of attending it. Meanwhile, Dalit Sangh organized a self-defence & Judo training and I learnt many techniques. Thereafter I participated in National Judo Championship at Gurugram in 2017 and earned Silver medal. I am now well known in my village and my parents aren’t afraid to send me anywhere anymore. I am happy to be in class 8th.
